Powers of Attorney

Powers of Attorney

Choose, in advance, exactly who will look after your affairs if you're ever unable to.

Property & Financial Affairs · Health & Welfare

Plan While You Can

So the right person can act for you later

As part of the service we give you, we strive to promote the importance of getting a Power of Attorney in place, to enable you to choose who will look after your affairs if you can’t.

We believe Lasting Powers of Attorney — covering your Property & Financial Affairs and/or Health & Welfare — are the most comprehensive Power of Attorney to have, because they continue even if you lose mental capacity to manage your own affairs.

The Property & Financial Affairs LPA can also be used, subject to your instructions, while you still have mental capacity — useful if you’re physically struggling to manage your affairs, whether permanently or temporarily.

We also prepare Lasting Powers of Attorney for business owners, so that if you were ever unwell — physically or mentally, temporarily or permanently — your business could continue, even where you’re the only person able to access certain information, or authorise wages and bills.

Our fees

  • Single LPA (Property & Financial Affairs, or Health & Welfare) — £600 + VAT
  • Both LPAs together — £750 + VAT
  • Both LPAs for a couple — £950 + VAT

£100 + VAT discount when prepared alongside your Will(s). Office of the Public Guardian registration fees apply separately. See our full fees page for details.
